PURPOSE: A method and a system for converting the Internet contents in real time are provided to enable a mobile terminal user to connect to a contents relay server besides of a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) proxy server by selecting in a menu type and inputting an URL(Uniform Resource Locator) of contents providing web site. CONSTITUTION: The real time Internet contents converting method comprises steps of receiving a contents request signal including the identification information of client browser, the URL providing the contents and the URL object from a client(313), requesting the URL object to the web site, receiving an electronic document confronting to the object from the web site(315), extracting a part of received electronic document according to a preset contents extracting rule, converting the received electronic document into a markup language(319), and transferring the converted electronic document to the client(321).
