PURPOSE: A method for detecting an angle of a vehicle fuel gauge is provided to accurately and promptly detect an angle of a fuel gauge by using a computer. CONSTITUTION: An indication needle of a sample fuel gauge is operated by moving from the top to the bottom of a movement area(S210). The image of the sample fuel gauge is captured periodically via a camera(S220). The captured image of the sample fuel gauge is filtered(S230). An angle of the sample fuel gauge is calculated from the filtered image by using a computer(S240). A lookup table is written(S250). An angle of a fuel gauge needing a performance test is detected by referring to the lookup table(S260).
