ERYTHROPOIETIC CAMELLIA SINENSIS AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided is a process of preparing green tea(Camellia sinensis) by adding Chinese herbal medicine having erythropoietic and blood circulating activity to green tea as a main material. Whereby, the product has increased erythropoietic activity by a synergistic effect and no side effects and toxicity. CONSTITUTION: A mixture of 25 to 50 parts by weight of Angelicae gigantis radix, 25 to 50 parts by weight of Cnidii Rhizoma and 25 to 50 parts by weight of Paeonia lactiflora is heated and dried, followed by grinding to give a herbal erythropoietic agent, which is mixed with Camellia sinensis powder in a ratio of 6:4 to 8:2, added with roasted unpolished powder in a ratio of 2:1 to 4:1 and extracted at 100deg.C for 30 min to 1 hr. The extract is mixed with a Camellia sinensis extract extracted at 75 to 85deg.C for 20 to 30 min and then added with 0.02 to 0.04%(w/v%) and liquid spice.
