PURPOSE: Provided are a card having a precious metal thin plate, which can be used for a souvenir, a letter of invitation, a business card, a key ring, or a picture frame, and a process for producing the precious metal card. CONSTITUTION: The precious metal card(1) is produced by the process comprising the steps of: attaching the precious metal thin plate(10) to one side of an OHP film(20) and releasing the backsheet of the precious metal thin plate(10); attaching a first and a second coating films(30,40) to the OHP film(20) and the precious metal thin plate(10); performing close adhesion; cutting the edges of the OHP film(20) and the first and the second films(30,40) attached to the precious metal thin plate(10). The adhesion of the precious metal thin plate(10), the OHP film(20), and the first and the second films(30,40) is performed by an adhesive selected from a transparent lacquer or EVA resin, a hot melt.
