PURPOSE: A band cable for automotive is provided to reuse and to prevent unnecessary material consumption by making the band cable unbreakable upon detaching from the fixed position and by maintaining extra portion of the band after installation. CONSTITUTION: A band cable for automotive comprises a U type body(1), an elastic piece(2) formed on one side of a lower portion of the body, and a hook plate(3). The U type body is inserted into an edge and a flange of a vehicle body panel. The elastic piece consists of metal piece and has a plurality of engaging openings(2a) in a certain distance. The elastic piece is provided to be wound around a lower portion of the body in a stand-by state and to be maintained extended state in a use state. The hook plate is coupled to the other side of the lower portion of the body through a hinge(4).
