PURPOSE: A sewing machine containing a means for guiding a margin to sew up into a needle rod of the swing machine with a specified depth is provided, thereby preventing a base fabric from being rolled and maintaining a margin to sew up at regular intervals. CONSTITUTION: This sewing machine comprises: a means(100) for guiding a margin to sew up; a drive means for advancing and retreating the means for guiding a margin to sew up; and a support means(300) prepared on the opposite side of the means for guiding a margin to sew up to move and for supporting one side end and the bottom part of a margin to sew up. The means for guiding a margin to sew up comprises a guide member(110), a fixing member(120), a moving bar(130) and a supporting bar. The drive means comprises: a moving means(210) for advancing the device for guiding a margin to sew up; and a return means for returning the device for guiding a margin to sew up.
