PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for mounting a stopper for a zipper are provided to simplify the process of manufacture and to improve the productivity thereof without deteriorating the appearance of the stopper. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing apparatus of a zipper having an improved stopper consists of: a press part(10) comprising an ultrasonic device(11) having a tool horn(12) for bonding a zipper filament and the stopper by using an ultrasonic fusion method; a lower jig part(30) located at the opposite side of the press part and onto which the zipper filament and the stopper are disposed; and a transfer part(20) for supplying the material of the stopper to the lower jig part.
