PURPOSE: A flat Braun tube is provided to form uniformly a grouping rate of electron beam to a fluorescent film by forming a predetermined curvature on an active area of a panel. CONSTITUTION: A back face of a panel(100) is formed with an active area and an inactive area. A screen is formed on the active area. The inactive area is a part in which the screen is not formed. An explosion proof glass(110) is fixed on a bottom face of the panel(100). A fluorescent film(100a) is formed on a back face of the panel(100). A mask support body(120) is mounted on the inactive area of the panel(100). A shadow mask(130) is fixed on the mask support body(120). A funnel(140) is fixed to the inactive area of the panel(100). The inactive area of the panel(100) has a flat face. The active area of the panel(100) has a predetermined curvature toward a front direction.
