PURPOSE: A remote monitoring device of house using the Internet is provided to enhance the function and convenience of home automation by enabling a user to perform the remote video monitoring, remote detection, remote control and remote call in a remote location through the Internet. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a server(1), a kinds of set-top box, installing to a house in order to connect to the Internet network(3) and processing the input/output of various kinds of signals relating to the house and the home appliances, a plurality of cameras(210) providing the video signal of the inside of house and the home appliances to the server, a plurality of microphones(211) providing the voice and sound signal generated in the house to the server, a driving part(212) having a driving device such as a motor and a relay in order to remote control the home appliances, a sensor part(213) monitoring the changes of the inside environment of home, an output remote controller(214) outputting a remote control signal to control the home appliances with the signal processed by the server, and a client(2) monitoring and controlling the home appliances through a two-way communication with the server by connecting to the server through the Internet. |
