BROADBAND BUILT-IN ANTENNA

PURPOSE: A broadband built-in antenna is provided to obtain very high radiation efficiency, minimize effect on a body of a handheld phone, and reduce size of the antenna and manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A broadband built-in antenna comprises a ground plane(25), a radiating body(24), a feeding probe(27), and a fixing unit(21). The feeding probe(27) is connected to an inner circuit of a handheld terminal via a feeding point(23) and connected to the radiating body(24) for supplying a signal to the antenna. The radiating body(24) is made of metal and formed as a zigzag. The radiating body(24) has a bent part(26) bent vertically to reduce the size of the antenna. The fixing unit(21) includes a hooking jaw(22) and is connected to the ground plane(25). The fixing unit(21) is mounted on the inner PCB of the handheld terminal and fixed by the hooking jaw(22). A gap is formed between the radiating body(24) and the ground plane(25) to implement the broadband by electromagnetic coupling effect.
