PURPOSE: A video system is provided to enable users to simultaneously and continuously record multi-channel television programs and receive digital television signals. CONSTITUTION: A video system(200) is composed of a demodulating unit(210), a processing unit(220), and a display unit(240). The demodulating unit receives audio/video signals(V1) from M channels and outputs digital audio/video signals(Vc) of N channels. M and N are positive integers, and N is smaller than or as same as M. The channel audio/video signals are wire or wireless digital television signals received by an antenna/cable(250). The processing unit directly outputs the N digital audio/video signals or records the signals in advance. The display unit outputs Q output audio/video signals(Vo) to a television system(260) after receiving a part of the N digital audio/video signals or P digital audio/video signals recorded in the processing unit. P and Q are also positive integers.
