PURPOSE: A stand type magnifier is provided to freely adjust a focus of a magnifier according to a user's visual power. CONSTITUTION: A base portion(10) supports a stand type magnifier to independently stand on a desk. The base portion(10) includes a base(11) and a joint. The base(11) is formed by a plastic or a metal plate. A support member(20) connects the base portion(10) to a magnifier(30). The support member(20) includes slide housing(25) and a slide(27). Slide housing(25) is expanded and contracted to freely change a focus of the magnifier(30). The slide(27) is inserted in slide housing(25). Slide housing(25) and the slide(27) support the magnifier(30). A fixture(26) is provided at an upper end of housing(25) and fixes the slide(27) to a predetermined location. The magnifier(30) is connected to one end of the support member(20).
