PURPOSE: To separate a spacer tape used in a supply reel and a spacer tape used in a housing reel from each other. CONSTITUTION: The automatic handler for TAB is provided with a tape winding device 12 freely winding the spacer tape 11a fed out with a TAB tape 1 when the TAB tape 1 is fed out from the supply reel 2A and a tape supplying device 13 freely supplying the spacer tape 11b winded up with the TAB tape 1 when it is wound on the housing reel 2B.
