A data relay system comprises a database section (35) where specifying information for specifying language-dependent data dependent on a language and replacement data corresponding to the language-dependent data and related with the specifying information are stored, a server data receiving section (36) for acquiring server data from a server system (1), a data processing section (34) for detecting the replacement data from the database (35) according to the specifying information included in the server data, a data creating section (37) for replacing the language-dependent data included in the server data with the replacement data, and a client data transmitting section (38) for transmitting the replaced server data to a client system (2). In this system, even if the language used by the server system (1) providing services through the Internet is different from the language used by the client system (2), the client system (2) can recognizes the information on the server side by using the replacement data.
