INTRACARDIAC DETECTION AND CONTROL OF REPOLARIZATION ALTERNANS

Nonlinear-dynamical control, also known as chaos control, can modulate human cardiac electrophysiological dynamics by stabilizing an unstable target thythm. Intracardiac, repolarization alternans detection methods are disclosed that operates on the basis of amplitude or repolarization duration detection. Also disclosed are control methods for stabilizing repolarization alternans.
