<p>A control method for bar material feeder capable of automatically setting, with the minimum input operation, a clamping chuck opening timing, shortcut timing, and bar material replacement timing, comprising the steps of extracting product length dimension data (1) and cutting width dimension data (s) from a machining program by the controller (115) of an NC lathe (110), calculating the position of a feeder (123) by using the data and, based on the position of the feeder (123), controlling the feeding of a bar material (W) from a bar material support part (128a) to a bar material support part (128c), opening and closing of the clamping chucks (129a to 129d), and feeding and replacement of the bar material (W).</p> |
