The invention relates to a composition which is based on monofluoro metal complexes, to a method for producing monofluoro metal complexes, especially a catalyst system consisting of metallocene monofluorides and aluminium alkylene, and to the use of said catalyst system for the polymerisation of unsaturated compounds, especially for the polymerisation and copolymerisation of olefins and /or dienes.
