The invention concerns a system for closing air intake conduits for a cylinder heat engine, made of plastic material and capable of generating a swirl and/or a tumble effect in the combustion chambers, in particular in low operating conditions of the engine. The system comprises two parts (1, 2) assembled, at least partially, at a rotation shaft (12) passing through each conduit to be closed and bearing an element for closing (11) the conduit. The conduits can be closed completely or partly, continuously and gradually, by rotating the shaft passing through each conduit.
