METHOD FOR CONTROLLING QUEUE BY WEIGHT VALUE

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a queue by a weight value is provided to prevent that a cell having a priority is delayed or stopped by a cell having a low priority. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of queues are set in one output port. A plurality of queues loads a predetermined weight value according to a priority of each cell. A queue having the highest weight value among the loaded weight value is selected and the cell is transmitted. The weight value of the queue which transmits the cell is subtracted. A value for adding weight values of a corresponding cell of the other queues is subtracted from all weight values of the corresponding queue.
