<p>The invention relates to a rock drilling apparatus and a mechanical conveyor for drill cuttings. The conveyor is provided with a sensor (68, 72, 76) for detecting when the conveyor has possibly jammed. The detection data of the sensor is supplied to a control unit (70) of the conveyor, which commands an actuator (31) driving the conveyor to drive the conveyor in a direction that is opposite to the normal direction of conveyance for a predetermined period of time.</p> |
