To provide the magnetic field in nuclear spin tomography a first magnetic coil large enough to enclose the patient's body is provided. Coils of a size appropriate to individual body parts are introduced inside this coil as required which introduces new vibration modes. The invention proposes that a decoupling preamplifier (3), acting as an impedance (8), is connected to the terminals of the first coil (1). The terminal resistance of the coil is set at 50 ohms.
