摘要 The yarn feed mechanism (F), for a loom, has a yarn measurement function with a powered rotating winder (W) and a static storage body (K) with a small diameter. The stopper (S) is moved wholly by the advance movement of the wound yarn coils in an axial direction, until it reaches the stop setting. The yarn feed mechanism, for a loom, has a yarn clamp (C) which is shifted between a passive and a clamping setting, and has a rapid opening mechanism (9). The outer diameter of the yarn storage body defines the yarn holding surface (4), with a surface curvature which matches the smallest unforced curving for the natural storage ability of natural or synthetic fiber yarns. The outer diameter of the yarn storage body is 25-55 mm and preferably 35-40 mm. The axial length of the yarn storage surface, as far as the stop point, is longer than the outer diameter of the storage body. The stopper is connected to a radial setting drive through a linkage or a bending zone, with a degree of freedom for an axial movement in relation to the radial setting drive only through the advance movement of the wound yarn coils. In the release setting, the stopper is moved by an axial setting drive axially and only against the direction of the advance movement of the wound yarn coils, preferably at the linkage or bending zone. In the stop setting, the stopper is caught at an axial limit stop (7), radially outside the yarn storage body. An energy absorbent limit stop damper is at the stop setting, for the stopper, preferably in the yarn storage body. The rapid opening mechanism has an operating magnet (M) for the yarn clamp unit (C) held in the clamping position by a spring (12). The magnet has an armature (A) which presses a clamp (13) against the spring, to move it into a passive setting. When the magnet is not energized, an armature accelerating idle stoke is between the armature and the clamp. The yarn clamp unit can be set to and fro in relation to the yarn take-off direction from the storage body, preferably by a swing or linear setting drive (10), with its stroke movements (11) at least matching the movements of the stopper. In the stop setting of the stopper, the yarn clamp unit is moved towards the yarn storage body with the set yarn clamp and, on reaching the passive setting, is moved in the opposite direction. The yarn clamp unit is moved temporarily from the yarn movement zone, preferably by the setting drive.
