A nickel-based alloy which has satisfactory strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a high-temperature combined-corrosion atmosphere where high-temperature oxidation occurs simultaneously with chlorination or sulfurization, without the need of excess cooling, surface protection, etc. The nickel alloy with high-temperature corrosion resistance consists of 25 to 40 wt.% chromium, 1.5 to 2.5 wt.% aluminum, 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% carbon, up to 15 wt.% tungsten, up to 2.0 wt.% manganese, 0.3 to 6 wt.% silicon, up to 5 wt.% iron, and nickel and unavoidable impurities as the remainder. When a low high-temperature strength is acceptable, the content of tungsten is 0 to 8 wt.% and that of silicon is 0.3 to 1 wt.% or 1 to 6 wt.%. When a high high-temperature strength is desired, the content of tungsten is 8 to 15 wt.% and that of silicon is 0.3 to 1 wt.% or 1 to 6 wt.%.
