The system consists of tank, continuous hydraulic pump, back pressure valve, hydraulic accumulator, and consumer. A valve (8) positioned parallel to the pump (3) is actuated by a pressure measuring device (7) associated with the accumulator (5), dependent upon the measured pressure. A defined oil volume is continuously fed through the pump, the pressure in the accumulator is continuously measured, the valve is opened by the pressure measurer, if the pressure in the accumulator exceeds a first threshold value, or the valve is closed if the pressure falls below a second threshold value.
