WATER-BASED COATING COMPOSITION FOR CAN INNER SURFACES
摘要
A water-based coating composition for can inner surfaces, characterized by being prepared by dispersing a carboxyl-containing acrylic resin modified epoxy resin (C) in an aqueous medium in a neutralized state, which epoxy resin (C) is prepared by reacting a carboxyl-containing acrylic resin (B) with a high-molecular epoxy resin (A) being a product of reaction of a cresylic novolak-type epoxy resin (a) having a specified low molecular weight with a cresylic novolak-type phenolic resin (b) having a specified low molecular weight and having a number-average molecular weight of 3,000 to 30,000. The coating composition is excellent in applicability and film performance and can solve the problem of endocrine disruption due to bisphenol A.
