A CT device (4), an MRI device (5), a ultrasonic device (6) and an X-ray device (7) for 3-D imaging are hooked up to a network (8). A 3-D image is stored in an image database (1) via the network (8). A first image processing device (2) or a second image processing device (3) receives a 3-D image from each device via the network (8). The image processing devices can concurrently display a plurality of 3-D images with conditions agreed for changes in observation direction, enlarging ratio and scale of images. A plurality of 3-D images may be synthesized to produce and display a synthesis image, which can be displayed in different colors for overlapped areas and non-overlapped areas. In addition, medical information for assisting in diagnosing and examining can be displayed along with a plurality of condition-agreed 3-D images.
