OPTICAL SCANNER

PURPOSE: An optical scanner is provided to keep a size of a Bow constant by passing a slit through a slit in order to improve a color registration. CONSTITUTION: A light source(100) irradiates a laser beam. A rotating polygon mirror(105) is rotated by a motor and reflects a light from the light source(100). A f-&thgr; lens(115) controls the light reflected by the rotating polygon mirror(105) to form a spot in a scanning line of a photosensitive medium. A reflecting mirror(120) is arranged at an optical path between the f-&thgr; lens(115) and a photosensitive medium. The reflecting mirror(120) reflects an incident light to form a path of the light passed through the f-&thgr; lens(115) in a direction of the scanning line of a photosensitive medium. A plate(155) has a slit(150) formed between the photosensitive medium and the reflecting mirror(120). When the laser beam passes through the slit(150), a Bow is constant formed. The slit(150) has a length corresponding to a length of the scanning line.
