METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CREASE- AND SHRINKAGE-RESISTING TREATMENT OF CLOTH

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for crease- and shrinkage-resistant treatment of cloth such as cotton fabrics, wool fabrics or the like are provided. Therefore, the treated cloth does not become creased and is not changed in size, shape and color after washing as well as being harmless to human body because it has a remaining formalin component below the tolerance. CONSTITUTION: An object to be treated is subjected to spraying with a mixed solution containing 8 to 15% by weight of nonformaldehyde resin, 2 to 5% by weight of a magnesium chloride solution, 2 to 5% by weight of a silicone urethane emulsion, 10 to 20% by weight of a sulfide solution, 3 to 6% by weight of water soluble resin and 49 to 75% by weight of water, drying to a moisture content of about 80%, a high temperature, high pressure press processing and then finish treatment. Hot wind at about 150deg.C is blown to a duct(36) through a blow pipe(35) by a blower pump(34), an object to be treated hanged on a hanger(37) is heated by the hot wind.
