PURPOSE: A seat belt for a vehicle is provided to secure an adequate rigidity of the seat belt when the vehicle is collided, without reinforcing the rigidity of a seat frame. CONSTITUTION: A seat belt comprises a webbing(11), a retractor(13), a tongue(14), a guide rail(16) and a buckle. The webbing(11) for restraining a body of a passenger is closed at the body of the passenger, and one end of the webbing(11) is fixed at a lower side of a B pillar(1) and is connected to the retractor(13) installed at the lower side of the B pillar(1) via an anchor(12) installed at the upper side. The retractor(13) is contained and wound the other side of the webbing(11) into the inside thereof and supports elastically the webbing(11) to close to the body of the passenger. The tongue(14) is installed at a middle portion of the webbing(11) to move slidably according to the webbing(11). The guide rail(16) is placed between seats(2) and is fixed opposite to a door(8) and the B pillar(1). The guide rail(16) is place in parallel to a longitudinal direction of the seat(2). The buckle has a buckle body coupled to the tongue(14) and a buckle bracket for fixing the buckle body.
