A video game control unit for use with a video game, comprises a universal force feedback transmitter and a plurality of different vehicle controls detachably mountable to the transmitter. The universal force feedback transmitter transmits forces felt by a simulated vehicle in the video game, and receives and interprets data from the video game indicative of the forces. One of the vehicle controls is mounted to the transmitter at a given time according to a type of the simulated vehicle in the video game. The one of the vehicle controls manipulates the simulated vehicle during play of the video game. <IMAGE> |
