<p>The present invention relates to a stering bar of a free-cutting tool, which includes a fixing part (3) to adjust the steering bar to the shaft (5) of a free-cutting tool, a bar part (1) with a grip (2) in one end, a control device (4) on the other side of the shaft to control the drive mechanism of the free-cutting tool and one or several bendings (6, 7) in the bar part, by means of which the bar part (1) has been made to reach at least partly the front side of the fixing part.
