Testing and maintaining switching centre, lines and terminals in telecommunications network

Commands are transmitted from a telecommunications terminal (TKE) to check and maintain the switching centre (VST) and connected lines (LE) and equipment (GE). The commands are transmitted using the wireless application protocol (WAP) standard. The commands may be transmitted using wireless application protocol from the switching centre to the telecommunications terminal where they are displayed. When a command is selected, the relevant parameter for the checking and maintenance processes initiated in the switching centre is transmitted.
