<p>The invention relates to an electromotively actuatable clamping device, comprising a) an electric motor (1) which is connected to at least one clamping arm (4) which is adjustably mounted on the clamping device by means of a threaded spindle (2) and an adjusting mechanism (3) connected thereto. The clamping device is provided with an electronic final position interrogation device (5) in order to control the opening position of said clamping arm (4), in addition to comprising b) an electronic circuit (6) associated with the electric motor for controlling the current of the engine, said circuit being actuated via the control input (7) of a higher ranking control unit in order to open and close the clamping device. According to the invention, for combined control of the motor current and opening position of the clamping arm (4), the electronic circuit (6) comprises an additional software-controlled circuit part (8) with a signal input (9) connected to the final position interrogation device (5) and a signal output (10) connected to the higher ranking control unit.</p> |
