A rock drilling apparatus comprising two frame parts (1, 2), which can be pivoted with respect to one another. The rock drilling apparatus comprises means for removing drill cuttings from a drill hole mainly by means of a flushing agent, and means for conducting the drill cuttings from the mouth o f the hole for further processing. The drill cuttings are preferably separated from the flushing agent and conducted by mechanical conveyors (20, 21) to a second frame part (2). There are at least two conveyors arranged to pivot wi th respect to one another by means of a pivoting joint (23), so that the drill cuttings can be conducted over a steering joint from the first frame part to the second frame part. The conveyors are preferably provided with means for compensating for a change in the points of support of the conveyor, resultin g from the turning of the frame parts.
