METHOD FOR PASSIVE ALIGNMENT OF SUPPORTS, PARTICULARLY PLATES BEARING OPTICAL COMPONENTS

The invention concerns a method and a device for passive alignment of supports, particularly of plates bearing optical components. The invention is characterised in that the method for aligning the supports consists (2, 8) in: forming holes (6, 7, 11, 12) in said supports, matching one another, placing balls (14, 16) on the holes of one of the supports and assembling the latter by placing the holes of the other support on the balls. The dimensions of the holes or of the balls are selected to obtain a non-null predefined angle alpha between the assembled supports.
