The invention relates to a radio device (20) that can be worn on the arm. A holding fixture (23a, 23b) for a metal pin (24a, 24b) is placed on each of the two opposite sides of the housing (21). An antenna (22) laterally protrudes out of the housing (21) near the upper side (26a) and is placed above one of both metal pins (23a). In order to reduce a detuning of the antenna (22) due to the relative proximity of the metal pin (23a), at least the holding fixture (23a) adjacent to the antenna (22) is offset downward with regard to the plane of the bottom side (26a) of the housing (21) whereby increasing the distance (D) between the antenna (22) and the metal pin (23a) arranged thereunder.
