The restrictor includes a float (3) coupled for movement with the swivel-opening valve flap through a lever rod assembly (5) which when the valve flap (4) is opened passes through the outlet opening (21) opening into the inside of the tank. The lever rod assembly is connected for articulated movement to the outside (28) of the flap facing the outlet opening. The flap is mounted in the valve housing (1). A drainage bore (85) connects the inside (26) of the valve to the inside of the tank.
