The invention relates to a device and method for measuring rackets, especially tennis rackets. A racket (20) is strung by means of a stringing device (1). This stringing device (1) comprises a stringing frame (2) with fastening means (13, 14), which serve to temporarily fasten the racket (20) to the stringing frame (2). The stringing device also comprises a pulling device (3) that is suited for pulling a string (22). By using a load cell (24), the force (23) exerted onto the string (22) by the string clamping device (25) is measured and is individually monitored by a control. |
