The manifold comprises a tube with end walls, which is made from two facing trough-shaped sections with linked edges. The two sections are shaped so that the splayed edges (7) of one section engage with the in-turned edges (8) of the other section so that they can be joined together along their overlapping surfaces (9,10) before brazing. The overlapping edges of the two sections can be shaped so that one edge fits into a recess in the other, or they can meet along matching concave and convex surfaces.
