The pick-up truck as at least one wall which can be lowered and parts acting as a buffer when the wall is lowered, forming a stop for it. The part (6) acting as a buffer is made in one with a locally applied cladding part (7). The buffer part may consist of a thickening in the cladding part, projecting outwards from it.
