摘要 The control signal for an actuator is processed by a unit from a linear function of output signals (dc1,dc2) delivered by a sensor (2) for each image (l1,l2) of each ground level light spot (T1,T2). The linear function is of the form: dc-1 - a x dc2 = K x (&thetas; - &thetas; 0) + b; where a,b and &thetas; 0 are constants characteristic of the geometry of the correction device, &thetas; is angle representing vehicle (V) stability and K is a magnitude representative of vehicle height (H). . Automatic correction system for the orientation of at least a automobile (V) headlamp (P) during alterations to vehicle stability, includes : a light transmitter (1) projecting on the ground in front of the vehicle two luminous spots (T1,T2) separated in a direction parallel to the vehicles longitudinal axis; a light sensor (2), for the luminous spots, including an objective (3) forming an image (l1,l2) of the spots on a receiver (6) which produces for each an output signal (dc1,dc2); a processor (5) designed to produce a control signal from the sensors output signal, and; an actuator, controlled by the control signal, which modifies the orientation on site of the headlamps (P) reflector (R).
