The varnish is for use for the protection of surfaces and uses a hydro soluble polymer inert to components of aerosol and aqueous paints. It also contains a hard polymer in dispersion in water, acetate of vinyl or propionate of vinyl and other agents. The hydro soluble polymer is a poly vinylic alcohol, either pure or in mixture with an abietic-maleic or acrylic carboxylate resin, soluble in ammoniacal medium.
