PURPOSE: A feedforward linearization method of a power amplifier and an apparatus thereof are provided to stably control a linearization by removing an asymmetrical feature of a transmission frequency in a changing signal. CONSTITUTION: A first coupler(2) divides a signal inputted through an input terminal(1). A gain detector(8) couples an input signal of the first coupler(2) and an output signal of a fourth coupler(10) and detects a gain. An analog/digital converter(7) converts gain levels of input and output signals detected by the gain detector(8) into digital data. A first controller(6) determines a gain and phase control signal based on the digital data from the analog/digital converter(7). A digital/analog converter(5) converts a digital control signal processed by the first controller(6) into an analog control signal. A vector modulator(3) controls a phase and an amplitude of an analog control signal from the digital/analog converter(5). First and second delay circuits(11,16) delay the divided signal and a signal from the first and fifth couplers(2,14). A first pilot receiver(21) samples a pilot signal component among an output of a sixth coupler(15). A second pilot receiver(23) samples a feature of a signal changed by an error amplifier(18).
