The invention relates to a method for filling a liquid circulating heating network, and a connecting part 3 which is to be arranged in the network during filling according to the method. When filling according to the invention, the traditional bleeding of the radiators is not needed. When filling, liquid is introduced though an inlet 1 such that the network is filled from the return side. Hereby, air present in the network is taken along with a liquid flow to the inlet side of the network and further along out of the network through an outlet 2, provided that the speed of flow is sufficiently high. The part of the network between the inlet and the outlet has been hydraulically discontinued. Sufficiently large inlet 1 and outlet 2 are provided through the connection element 3, which is arranged in the pump room during the filling, by means of a centrifugal pump 4 in the network to be filled, or via a connection part which is provided instead of the pump of the network to be filled. <IMAGE>
