The machine has an optical device for use in positioning the tool carrier (4) and aligning it by means of the axial hole (9) through which the video camera (7) is focused. The objective of the video camera is linked to a device (11) such as a monitor for display of the image of the tool carrier and is intended to be used with a positioning grid or similar. The monitor (11) is held by a hinged support arm (12). The video camera or optical device (7,8) can be positioned as desired and has elements for adjustment and focusing in order that the monitor image has maximum resolution and image sharpness.
