A water supply installation has a water inlet (5) which leads via a syphon conduit (3, 4) to a discharge outlet (6) at a lower level than the inlet (5). A flow-operated pulsing device (18) is connected in the syphon conduit operable by a syphonic flow of water through the conduit to create a pulsed flow of water through a delivery outlet (7) at a higher level than the inlet. The delivery outlet includes a non-return valve (14). |
