The present invention refers to an improved process for the production of abrasive fibers for cleansing, constituted by a support of non-woven material covered of abrasive particles in suspension, said process being characterized by the employment of acetylenic diol surfactants to promote the uniform distribution of coating material and the product obtained thereof.
