<p>Consolidating flue gas purification residues from incineration of domestic waste and liquid and solid industrial wastes comprises: (a) a grinding and mixing phase in which the wastes are mixed with pozzolanic and hydraulic reagents and in which extraction water or liquid waste is added; (b) a reaction and extraction phase in which the mixture from (a) is fed into reactors for insolubilisation of its heavy metals by mixing with sodium sulphide and sodium carbonate, pH adjustment by acid addition, extraction of soluble compounds and physical-chemical reactions with redox reagents; (c) a dehydration phase in a filter press; (d) a consolidation and partial re-hydration phase; and (e) a final filtration water treatment phase. Also claimed is a plant for carrying out the above process, the plant having a grinding and mixing unit, a physical-chemical treatment and extraction installation, a dehydration unit, a hydration unit and a filtrate physical-chemical treatment unit.</p> |
