SUBSTANCE: electric furnace includes heating chamber with muffle, dampers, charging-discharging chambers with chain mechanisms for moving charge and with drive units arranged outside chamber. Chain mechanism is provided with carriage carrying pusher in the form of bent V-shaped lever secured to carriage by means of pin and having limiters with magnets built in them and arranged symmetrically relative to said pin. Carriage for moving charge is provided with two stops hinged only to inside of carriage and placed on edges of carriage. Distance between gravity centers of hinged stops is less than distance between their rotation axes. It provides reliable transportation of heat treated products. EFFECT: reduced operational cost, enhanced efficiency of furnace, lowered number of rejected articles. 2 cl, 2 dwg
