ELASTIC TABLE OF APPLIANCE FOR GRINDING PLATE GLASS

PURPOSE: An elastic table of an appliance for grinding a plate glass is provided to rapidly restore a horizontal condition of the appliance so as to allow the appliance to grind the plate glass in a uniform grinding width, thus improving the processability of the plate glass. CONSTITUTION: The elastic table(10) of an appliance for grinding a plate glass(24) consists of a rotatable plate(12) mounted to the upper part of a rotating shaft(11), onto which the plate glass supported by a base roller is disposed; a grinding head constructed to be contact with the rim of the plate glass at a constant height in order to grind the rim of the plate glass; plural suction members(22) mounted on top surface of the rotatable plate for keeping the plate glass; and an elastic device(13) installed between the rotatable plate and the rotating shaft for elastically support the rotatable plate.
